Fair winds and following seas Masterchief. Thank-you for your guidance, leadership, and most of all for your friendship. You have sailed to soon, but unlike prior years when our paths crossed, now we must look forward to more enlightened times. You will always be alive in our minds, hearts, and sea stories. Carolyn and I offer our most profound condolences to Midge and your family. May our prayers help everyone to get through these trying times. Our Little Rock and G-Division reunions will never be the same but we know you'll be there in spirit, after all you had a big part of who we turned out to be. You always knew what was going on, even when you weren't there or back in the Chief's mess drinking coffee. I never could figure out your omni-presence. God bless your soul my friend, and may God's perpetual light shine upon you. Amen FCCM (Ret) Joe Ledweg (Little Joe)

Paul was a very kind, nice man and friend. Always there to help out with anything. He and his wife Marlene of 54yrs were “two peas in a pod”! They loved each other dearly and did everything together! He loved his family and was a good husband, father, grandpa, and great-grandpa and friend and he will be missed. Thanks for all the good times with you and Marlene! Rest In Peace Paul.
